For sure, Langkawi is a treat that would be loved by everyone. Its natural splendor and unspoilt beauty catch the attention of people from all over the world. Every year, thousands of travelers come to admire and take pleasure in the glistening vistas of the island. Obviously, being an island, its pristine sandy beaches and azure waters of the sea are the major attraction for the tourists. And its sun-kissed islands and blue skies make the highlights of this whole adventurous journey.

When it's about sightseeing, there are many places to see in Langkawi such as Galeria Perdana, Laman Padi, Craft Cultural Village, Telaga Harbour Park, Langkawi Crystaal, Atma Alam Art Village, etc. And the interesting part is that many tourist attractions have stories attached to their establishment. Like Kuah (meaning gravy) town is said to have been set up at the place where gravy happened to fall during a quarrel. Likewise, some other places that are associated with legends are Makam Mahsuri, Ayer Hangat, Dataran Lang, etc.

Apart from such places, be a witness to the caves and waterfalls which have been present here since ages. Another great place to visit is Langkawi Sky Bridge, which offers a picturesque view of the island and sea from different angles. Beras Terbakar, literally the Field of Burnt Rice, is a different place to see and get acquainted with the legendary stories. Amidst all the other attractions, don't forget to miss the Pulau Dayang Bunting, which is famous for its serene Lake of the Pregnant Maiden.
